Disability or Not

A young man once sat me down and said...

it’s not the weight of your disability,

it’s the size of your mentality

look around my son

even if you have a disability or not,

everyone is in the same boat trying to float

but the special few like you can make this stay on this earth so much better,

if you never let your disability hold you back,

it might challenge you but in fact that’s how you get stronger how you go further, everyday, dare I say every time you experience a setback don’t bother it’s not a step back

rather it’s a lesson from

God to not give up

You might have battle scars but your eyes will always shine bright,

brighter than the stars in the very dark night, your wounds

you are hiding from no need to conceal them for real

what’s the deal no matter what you do in this life,

your already so beautiful to Gods eyes

so, shut up the haters that are outside and shut down thecomplainers in your mind by showing them who you are,

your physical body might be knocked down

but your soul is not out,

your light is still burning bright I know your scared for your life

but you don't live twice,

I notice you might be going through a rough time but look at you now your living proof

that Jesus Christ is living through you,

so just open your eyes little lion

and take a deep breath

then take my hand to a land Jesus Christ personally created,

you can still see the impression where his gracious apostles made this

for all of his children to live in

they say, the bible recognizes 12 disciples reality I see there’s plenty of human beings living that are capable of so much more

if you stop cutting wings defiantly people with disability,

because it might seem like as much as you try to fly you cant reach the sky

but for us who have disability's never could dream of anything,

the one and only thing that separates us from others is...

we never close our eyes on our dreams,

if I could be honest with you

if you keep on running, not worrying about any others opinions,

no matter the challenges in your way just keep that belief in you in anyway possible even if it feels so far away,

God always points you back on the right way

and he keeps you on the path he wants you on,

sometimes a road you don't want to be on,

and rarely we don't know why compared to another guy,

why yours and my life is so hard,

I cant tell you why

but Jesus Christ works in mysterious ways,

and all I know is,

by reading superhero comics day after day flipping page by page,

they all have these things called origin stories,

although they have a decision to make before,

either being good or bad,

but I realize every time at the end of the book,

look if there bad they couldn't overcome the crap in there head

and they turn into a supervillain

but if there good they turn into not just a superhero but an underdog,

and they are the ones that show America a miracle when America shamed them in the first place for what?

Gods mistake

newsflash God doesn't make mistakes,

all the pain and struggle is from the devil,

I believe he's scared of my level how many people

I will lift up with this gift

and he's trying to deny that in anyway he can,

not just for me but you,

sometimes it appears your in a hole

you cant dig yourself out of

but have no fear

even if it rains and feels like you should not be saved,

I vow as how much more days I'm still alive to do my best impression of God

and bring the war to the front step of the devil,

when the rubble crashes downwhenever its hard and you don’t know if you can carry on,

beyond the clouds theirs a crowd calling your name,

if you need hope just know not just God but everyone

you looked up too indeed has your back,

sometimes it could seem like this life is too loud to hear them

but have belief they're rooting for you

in whatever your fighting against,

so trust me when I say this through my lips

Gods using you for great things

even if your a person with a disability or not,

it doesn't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things,

so re-tape those wings back on and like a lion grow a mane,

because your one step forward to being a

household name
