The Lighthouse went off then on

This Poem tells what my mom told me and some I think she would've felt learning her baby boy was going to enter life with a disadvantage (Credit to Natalie Merchant for making Wonder) My Mom Gave me this song when I was born.

This is the story,

The story of how,

how the lighthouse went off then on,

It reads The lighthouse was off for many years

many years

until It suddenly came on

It appeared a light was born out of the darkness

It was told a baby boy was born in 97, 1997

Named Beacon Hill,

sent from the angels to shield to heal and repair

what has been broken for years

and years

but one flaw came while the angels prayed,

the devil was a giving him a smudge to sway that gain dyslexia and apraxia

was its name,

when his parents came to know this Lyric played in their brains,

"this child will be gifted with love,

with patience and with faith"

he'll make his way

It kept on playing and repeating until,

his mom turned to the new baby boy and sang I wont give up, if you don't give up, you must stay strong,

you might have scars on your body parts,

but your heart is bigger than any mark,

my Son don't give up, don't give in, don't Stop digging in the dirt,

daydreaming of when the earth will know you someday because,

one day I know they all will,

if you put your mind, tears mountaineer a new story

you will rewrite history trust me,

whatever you dream up will become your legacy
