I should not be here (Ted Talk)
This uprising poem I metaphorically draw a picture of a person with disabilities that shouldn't have the opportunities I had, 2nd poem to end my Ted Talk.
I Should Not Be Here
I have dyslexia and apraxia,
I guess that means I cant be here,
according to most folk
I'm dreaming saying you should not be here.
feels like my shadow is back there saying come back here
so, if I go who will be the change
the range who my crew can look up too,
who will be the one who stands up to those above because,
sadly the word
disability,
They don't Love,
I'm trying to say no more, I might not talk well
but, I'm writing like hell because, some of the people are living in hell right now,
they might look weird,
this dude is in a wheel chair
but this is no way to treat the so called special
people.
all that means is were different, unique, one of a kind,
under that steeple no one likes us
but, the born from manger made us who we are.
greatness already been done
from making it in this life
when this life is living in darkness trying to be lightness.
